Working with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) of Research Triangle Park NC, Brian Casto interviewed many entrepreneurs, business owners and executives to research and understand the needs and challenges of Start Up and Small Business firms. Expecting and finding strong need for Sales Advice and Consulting, Brian also found a dramatic need for broader solutions to include corporate leadership, marketing, product management, business planning, lead generation, professional coaching, and sales outsourcing. Knowing the absolute need for revenue growth, many companies are challenged to identify the problems and take the appropriate action to solve them, including the deployment of an appropriately structured and managed sales organization. Many business leaders and entrepreneurs have learned that growing their business requires additional skill sets and different competencies. For some, frustrated attempts at sales investments have reinforced this message dramatically. Brian’s research was followed by work to confirm and document the needs across industries, validate solution offerings, and structure a company to deliver those offerings. Group 19 LLC was formed.
Since our beginning in 2004, our individual clients have included Start-up Founders, Small Business CEOs / Presidents, single person entrepreneurs, Sales VPs, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and non-sales Business Executives. Group 19′s success started locally in the Research Triangle Park of North Carolina, but quickly expanded across North America.
